I came here for dinner before going to see a play on Broadway on a Friday night. The place seemed spacious and nice so my friend and I decided to go in. We ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo as an app, which was tasty but the bread was a bit too soggy. So everything just fell right off it. We both ordered the Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana, since we were starving and didn't feel like experimenting [after all how hard is it to screw this up?!]. We got a huge portion of chicken but the way it was served was a bit annoying to eat. They had the chicken on a big plate and then in a smaller square dish they had they pasta. I just dumped everything on my plate and went to town. My friend who had a bit more table manners than I did, had a difficult time eating. The Chicken Parm was good but I have had better. We also ordered some drinks, I got the Skinny Basil Gimlet and my friend got some kind of martini. They were pretty good but I didn't quite enjoy mines. The scent was intoxicating but the taste just wasn't there. The service was good in the beginning but went down hill. It was quite impossible to get the bill at the end. And when we asked to split the bill in half, he charged one person $25 more. And then there was the manager who was quarreling about his wait staff. Then when he noticed us watching him, he came over and started talking about how incompetent they were and saying how he will get in trouble for their mistakes. Like, honestly, we really did not need to know that. After all, we _are_ eating here. And then this same manager later goes over to the bar and gropes another female waitress. Ugh, like we requested a tasteless rated R show with our meal. Personally, I am a bit annoyed with the fact that I pay full price for this horrible dining experience. If you are interested in visiting, wait until you see a deal then at least you won't be that disappointed.
